The start of a CREATIVE journey!

For months I have been toying with the idea of starting a blog. I decided on a blog title, design and even lined up my friend to be my co-blogger, but up until today I haven’t made one entry. This morning I woke up and decided that today will be the day that I make that first entry. So here goes… 

My name is Gailene, I’m 25years old (for atleast another month) and this is my blog. My blog is appropriately titled, “Glamgaia”.  Why “Glamgaia” you may ask, well all my life I’ve been called Gaia for short. I studied fashion design and I have dreams of having my own label, which I one day will name Glamgaia. At first I thought it just means a glamorous version of me. Until someone pointed out that Gaia also means the Goddess of earth. So Glamgaia would mean “glamorous goddess of earth”! Kewl, hey! Okay, okay enough about my creative blog title and back to the task at hand. I want to use this blog as a scrapbook of memories and inspiration including all things glamorous and maybe sometimes not so glamorous. So come check in regularly and enjoy this creative journey with me.
