So the weekend has come and gone and I already find myself craving another one. Lol. Luckily this is a short week. Yay!
My Friday kicked off at the vida and mis.sella sale. Oh what madness it was. Many ladies came to get their shopping on. I wasn’t one of them, however. I work for the abovementioned labels, so I was merely an observer and not a shopper. It’s always fun to see all the satisfying customers. After all of that I went home to catch some rest before the big night out with my friend and co-blogger, Jade. (Look out for a future post about "city girl" a.k.a Jade).
We got dressed at my flat, with a glass of rosé in hand, music blasting in the background. Our playground for the evening was ZAR, situated in Greenpoint. We opted for a more sophisticated look, levitating away from the usual short skirts and vests.I chose a teal coloured blouse and Jade went with a coral blazer for that mature factor...

It was super fun and we danced non-stop or should I say, Jade danced non-stop. Usually I pack flat shoes, for when I can't handle the heels any longer. This time, “someone” convinced me that I won’t be needing flats, so I didn’t have any in my bag. I told myself I can dance through the pain but eventually I couldn’t handle the numbness of my toes and the shoes came off. (The numb toes is no joke, the one still haven’t regained feeling. Obviously I googled to find out if it is normal. According to this oh so reliable search engine, I shouldn't worry yet. I should regain feeling in a few days).
After all the dancing, we made a pitstop at my place to change shoes and off we went to Clay oven in Long Street to buy a pizza. Shame the bacon, avo, jalapeno combo never stood a chance against two hungry girls. We chowed down the pizza so fast, I didn’t even think of taking a picture to capture the moment.
Feeling exhausted, we downed a glass of water and went to bed.
